She was selected for this peer- given award for her contributions to the KWAR community and her accomplishments in her first two years of selling real estate. Congratulations to Scott Forman for winning the prestigious 2013 KWAR Realtor of the Year award

 

At the beginning of November, the Key West Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) held its annual Installation Gala. This year's event was held at the Tennessee Williams Theater and had the theme "Life is a Key West Cabaret". It was a delightful evening of dinner, drinks, and fabulous entertainment courtesy of Eric Haley and Frank Wood, who were kind enough to donate their time and talents to the event.

Aside from providing a relaxing evening for Key West's REALTORS®, the gala also saw the installation of the new President and Board of Directors. Scott and the other previous Board members were called on stage and thanked for their service and commitment. Scott handed over his title of MLS Chairman, and the new Board was installed.

The evening culminated with the presentation of several prestigious awards, including the coveted Realtor of the Year trophy. Last year's winner, Doug Mayberry, read a moving tribute to this year's winner. Written by Scott's broker, David C. Austin, it discussed the reasons this peer-awarded honor was bestowed upon Scott. These reasons include his genuine honesty, fairness, and relentless dedication to serving his clients. 

Those of us lucky enough to work with Scott know that there is no one more deserving of this award. We are thankful every day to learn from his wisdom, experience, work ethic, and sense of humor.
